Happy New Year everyone!!! (I know, it’s late)

As we return to a new year, a popular artist leaps onto a new page in his musical career with 2013 as well. Justin Timberlake is BACK!!!

Last Thursday (Jan 10) Timberlake teased something musically was coming for the fans via this video…

It’s been 6.5 years since Timberlake released a solo album, his last being ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds’ in 2006. Since then, he’s jumped on tracks by many other artists, starred in some decent movies (‘Trouble with the Curve’ was surprisingly GOOD!), and working his 9-5 game trying to help re-invent MySpace.

Now today, we have the first taste. And he brought some support in the form of Jay Z on a rap verse, and Timbaland on the beat. Instant Top 40? Could have waited another 6.5 years? What are your thoughts???

JT’s new album is titled ‘The 20/20 Experience’ and is expected out later this year.

Big Sean has announced his next album will be titled ‘Hall of Fame’ and will drop December 18th. Today he shared a new track with the internet called ‘Guap’. It is produced by Key Wane and Young Chop….and I absolutely LOVE the sound on this one. Totally funky island feeling….steel drums….dope bass.

The Weekend is back with a new single for the masses. The song is not going to be included in his retail trilogy release of mixtapes. It’s totally NEW…does that mean a new mixtape or full album is close behind the trilogy release?

Timing is usually everything with artists these days, and it just so happens the FIRST performance of this song was last night at Terminal 5 in NYC…shortly after this YouTube video went up.

It features a sample from The Smiths’ “Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want”. Have a listen below.
